Footsteps is a STEM-based mentorship program dedicated to nurturing and inspiring high school students interested in pursuing careers in STEM fields. We recognize that many students may feel daunted by the prospect of a STEM career due to a lack of resources and support. Our mission is to bridge this gap by providing invaluable mentorship and guidance.
At Footsteps, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to explore and succeed in STEM. While the decision to continue on this path ultimately rests with the students, our mentors will be there to offer unwavering support and to help them understand that their goals are achievable. Our primary objective is to instill confidence in our mentees, empowering them to overcome obstacles and thrive both during and after mentorship. Through this process, both mentors and mentees will enhance their skills in networking, problem-solving, and empathy, growing into more capable future professionals.
