AEPhi was founded at Northeastern University on May 6th, 1990, and to this day it continues to be a close-knit, compassionate community that fosters lifelong friendship and sisterhood. Founded in 1919, Beta Gamma Epsilon is Northeastern University’s oldest social fraternity. We are unique from other fraternities in that we are made up solely of engineering and science majors. As a small fraternity of about 30 members, every brother knows each other on a personal level, and we are always looking to welcome new brothers. Brothers work their way through class together, play on intramural sports teams, and attend activities such as paintball, poker night, sky diving, and community service events. Dozens of brothers live off campus together in our fraternity house on Commonwealth Avenue. Friendships are formed that last throughout college and endure for years after.

Kappa Delta Sorority was founded in 1897 at State Female Normal School, now Longwood University, in Farmville, Va. The thought that 125 years ago four young women could just sit down and create a sisterhood as enduring as Kappa Delta sometimes defies understanding, but that's exactly what they did.
Today, Kappa Delta is an impressive nationwide organization that reaches far beyond the local chapter. We have more than 300,000 initiated members, 168 active collegiate chapters across the country and over 200 alumnae chapters across the country. Led by an elected National Council, hundreds of national volunteers and a professional staff numbering over 50, we have a network of sisters and friends around the world who come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
Together, Kappa Deltas impact the lives of members and those in need around the world. Contributions to the Kappa Delta Foundation from alumnae, collegians and friends of Kappa Delta enable the sorority to further its philanthropic efforts, providing support for the sorority’s national philanthropies, numerous local community outreach programs, as well as scholarships and educational opportunities for members.

We teach young men social skills that will benefit them throughout their lifetime. The multitude of leadership opportunities available through the Fraternity prepares members for success in their chosen careers. The Fraternity should promote ethical behavior and decision-making.
The lessons taught from Fraternity ritual should be incorporated into the daily lives of the members.
